Research activities at Yasuda Laboratory are focused towards the development of
new detectors and systems mainly on cadmium telluride (CdTe) based compound
semiconductors for the nuclear radiation detection and imaging.
Innovative imaging detectors for medical applications are being developed based on
metalorganic vapor phase epitaxially (MOVPE) grown thick CdTe layers, as well as
detectors based on bulk CdTe crystals.
